AP Literature/comp test: 4 ACT English: 34 ACT Reading: 32 Spanish classes have included 4 years at Milton Academy, up to Spanish level 4 3 years at Colby College, from level 126 until 297 ( I am planning on continuing in the fall as well) 3 immersion programs: Ecuador (1 month), CPI Costa Rica (1 month), SIT Chile (4 months) I love being able to teach other what I know. I love children and would be able to teach them a second language that will certainly come in handy later on in life. By having experiences first hand in Latin American countries, my spanish is not just from a book. Instead, I would be able to teach your child how to converse freely as well as write correctly. Along with my proficiency in Spanish, I am a graduate of Milton Academy, where English was quite a focus. I am more than proficient in grammar and writing forms and would be able to teach any child the rules and tricks of writing well. On top of that, being a native english speaker, I would be able to teach it as a second language, preferably with someone who already has a bit of english experience, or who speaks spanish. Study skills were quite important in boarding school, as well computer and organization skills. Should the need arise, I am more than willing to go through the steps of organizing, studying, and being more prepared for an intense academic environment such as a boarding school or college.
